Web development

Four years ago I started working as a junior web developer. What initially appealed to me about this profession is its results-oriented nature: through dedicated research and problem-solving you arrive at effective solutions. The world of web development continues to expand as you learn more and dive deeper into it, which keeps the work challenging and engaging. I am a perfectionist with a strong eye for detail, always striving to grow and improve. I am motivated to channel this perfectionism in a positive way as a web developer. I found my way into web development because it offers a great deal in freedom. I learned the craft both on the job and through the online school Bit-Academy. Crafts

"Can I make a product that is 100% sustainable, honest and natural? That is the question I always keep in my mind when I start to design a new pair of shoes or other product." In the last few years I undertook a long research process with the aim to source materials that align with this question. My goal is to honor the whole process and use as much as possible local products. I came in contact with inspiring people and companies who sought the same values. My research led me to Austria to tan my own leather and to Friesland for flax thread spun by hand. I use old bike tires from Amsterdam, wood from local trees and Dutch leather from organic cows. It is important for me that the whole cycle is honest. From land, resource and material to the product that stands before you. A product that stand firmly on the ground with simplicity and strength in both materials and presentation. Want to see what I made in the last few years? Have a look at my portfolio. PORTFOLIO ->
